The Boondall wetlands is a RAMSAR protected wetland which is considered internationally significant due to the 40,000 migratory birds that is supports during the summer months. The wetlands are a great place to paddle. We recommend drifting in and out with the tide enjoying some great scenery. Nothing beats the tranquility of the wetlands.
The Noosa everglades really is the #1 for paddling in South East Queensland. You need all day for this one or why not camp overnight at one of the many camp spots along the upper Noosa river.
